EMS annual
meeting set
Emergency Medical personnel from throughout the five counties of Planning District 9 are invited to attend the eighth annual meeting of the Rappahannock-Rapidan Emergency Medical Services Council which is set for Tuesday evening, September 23 at Lakeside Club House in Culpeper.
The dinner meeting will feature sliced roast sirloin of beef and barbecued Chicken. The highlight of the evening will be a presentation by Rich Adams, Editorial Director, WDVM-TV (CBS) in Washington, D.C. Rich is an Emergency Medical Technician in Maryland and is also a National Registry Emergency Medical Technician.
All EMS council directors, members, rescue squad and hospital personnel, fire fighters, local and state government officials and any interested citizens are invited to attend the meeting. During the evening, awards will also be presented in several categories for outstanding contributions to emergency medical services in the five county area.
The dinner begins at 7:00 p.m. with a cash bar opening at 6:30 p.m. This year’s annual dinner meeting will be at Lakeside Club House just off Route 522 West. Take 522 West to Jenkins Avenue, turn left, go to next right and follow road up to the clubhouse. The cost of the evening is $11 per person.
