The winter meeting of the Rappahannock Historical Society will be held Friday, March 6, at 7:30 p.m. at the Courthouse on Gay Street. The speaker will be Judge Harris Grimsley and the topic of discussion will be “Events Leading up to the Constitution of the United States.” All members and interested persons are urged to attend.

Dance at Amissville
The band Royal Tones will play for a dance sponsored by the Amissville Volunteer Fire Department Saturday, Feb. 21, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Proper dress is required and persons attending must be 21 years of age. For reservations or additional information call 937-4357.
‘Artists and Friends9 at Middle St.
The Gallery Artists and Friends show will open Saturday, March 7, from 5 to 10 at the Middle Street Gallery. The show is a survey of work from Los Angeles to New York, from Chile to Moscow and points in between. It will also include the premiere showing of photographs by Russian Edik Gladkov who was former official photographer for Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn.
