lhe day will kick on at 11:30 a.m. with the hunting pair event. Pairs of horses will compete for optimum time, fast time and junior optimum time over 3 miles of flagged, natural hunting country. Trophies are offered to the winners.

The first race of the day is for the juniors. Youngsters under 18 will take their horses over seven-eighths of a mile, ponies over half a mile of turf. Then a flat race will be held for the adults, challenging riders with 1% miles of fast-paced running.

An open hurdle will be held over natural cedar hurdles and 2'A miles for owner-riders.

Ladies mount up next to try the 3-mile timber course, then the owner-riders give it a shot. The Ricacho Memorial, a perpetual trophy, is awarded to the winner of this race.

The final race of the day is an open timber race over the scenic 3mile course.
