Sandra Antony is preparing a Snow Emergency call list. Forms were sent home asking parents if they would like to be notified if school is closed early because of inclement weather. Mrs. Antony will prepare a list of callers and callees and make it available to interested parents.

On the subject of weather, SPTA president Judy Tole informed the members that the following dates would be used to make up snow days: Feb. 16 and 21, March 21, April 15 and 16, June 8.

The meeting ended with a short discussion about teacher needs, which will be continued at the association’s March 3 meeting. It will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the RCES library. Any parents interested in planning or assisting with the sock hops or fun fair, who would like more information about the National PTA, or who are concerned with school issues are urged to attend the next SPTA meeting.
