Ms. Andreora informed the parents that rugs for the two kindergarten rooms had been purchased and delivered. She said that the teachers were very pleased with the rugs, which will provide a place for the children to sit during story time, discussions and game-playing.
Parent-teacher conferences were scheduled for Feb. 12. Linda Mallory, dinner committee chairman, coordinated the effort to provide teachers with dinner from 5 to 6 p.m. Teachers were required to stay until 8 p.m. to complete the conferences.
Two more sock hops will be held this year. One is scheduled for March, the other will be in May. The SPTA hopes to have a live band for the May hop. Anyone who knows of a band which would be willing to play is asked to contact Cindy Andreoni (9878760).
The SPTA-sponsored movie scheduled for this month has been postponed until March.
