The members of the Rappahannock Elementary SPTA voted at their February meeting to join the National PTA. After research and consideration begun in January, a vote was called at the Feb. 3 meeting and the decision was made to join the national association.

President Cindy Andreoni said “This will affect the whole atmosphere of our organization.”

Camille Harris agreed, and added “This will push us into new expanded areas of growth. A lot more resources will now be available to us.”

The members directed the SPTA’s officers to prepare the necessary paperwork to join the association.
