Last year a total of 98 races on the nine-meet Virginia circuit attracted 640 starters.
Besides Virginia, there were also point-to-point races in Maryland (four meets); the Delaware Valley, comprising Delaware and Pennsylvanie (six meets); the Midwest circuit comprising Kentucky, Tennessee and Ohio (four meets); California (one meet), and Michigan where the Metamore Hunt recently renewed its fall meet.
