GED testing set
for March 14
The General Education Development Test (GED Test) for those persons who were once enrolled in school but who did not complete graduation requirements, will be given March 14 in the Warren County Vocational Center. Testing will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m.
The tests, administered and supervised by the Adult Education Service of the Department of Education, are designed to measure the educational development of individuals who left school before graduation.
The five tests in English Composition, Social Studies, Natural Science, Literature and Mathematics are designed to measure the major skills that result from a four-year high school curriculum.
By achieving satisfactory scores on GED tests adults may earn a high school equivalency certificate, qualify for admission to college or advanced educational opportunities, meet educational requirements for employment or promotion, and sat
