The first race, the Foxhunters’ Bowl, will take maiden horses across a mile and six furlongs dotted with National Fences. A $7,500 purse is the offing for a first-time winner.

The Thomas and Talbot Bowl will follow. This is a maiden claiming hurdle over a mile and six furlongs. A $5,000 purse is up for the winners.

The Piedmont Hunt Cup runs next —again a maiden race but this time over the park’s sturdy new timber course. The first completing the 3-mile course claims the $10,000

purse.
