miles over National Hurdles. Next, ladies alone will race about three miles over the timber course in fair hunting country. A three-time winner may become the permanent owner of the Warrenton Hunt Cup Trophy.
An open timber race will be run next over about 3 miles of fair hunting country. Enough entries may split the race into divisions of maidens and winners. The Warrenton Hunt steeplechase trophy, known as the Daniell Cup, a perpetual trophy donated by the late Mrs. J. Chilton Gray in memory of her brother, R. C. Daniell, will be presented to the winner.
A maiden hurdle race will be staged around 2 p.m. One and a half miles of National Fences will face non-jump winners, and the Great Run Trophy will be presented in memory of William Henry Pool by Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Tufts.
An owner-rider timber race will be held next over a 3-mile course. The Dell Cup perpetual trophy will be presented by Effie Melchior Fox.
Next an open hurdle race will be held over lVi miles for the Riverland Bowl, a perpetual trophy and permanent trophies. The final race of the day will be a flat race held over IV2 miles on the turf.
On Sunday, March 22, the hunter pace event kicks off at 1 p.m. Teams of juniors and adults will compete for optimum time and adults may run for fast time. The course will traverse about 2Vz miles of flagged hunting country.
