Warrenton Hunt
On March 21 the Warrenton Hunt will host the 46th running of its classic point-to-point meet. Held at the Broadview Race Course, historic home of the Virginia Gold Cup, the meet offers a card of eight races.
The following day Warrenton Hunt will sponsor a hunter pace event at Land-Ho Farm near Warrenton.
The rich racing will offer permanent trophies to owners and riders in each race along with traditional trophies.
The first race on Saturday will be for the juniors and their small ponies. The children with small ponies, under 13 hands, will contest about a quarter mile on the flat. The larger ponies will race about half a mile.
