For the fourth year the meet will be held at Dr. and Mrs. Robert Gaines’ Mt. Sterling Farm near Warrenton. The meet will feature a card of nine races with a hunter pace event held the following day.

The racing will kick off Saturday with a maiden hurdle race at 12:30 p.m. Three-yearold horses that have never won a hurdle race will compete over a course of IV2 miles with the homemade Casanova obstacles — cedar stuffed boxes.

The second race will be contested over timber for about three miles. Next a fast, three-quarter-mile race will be run on the turf.

The fourth race is for the ladies only. Two and a half miles await these women with solid timber obstacles to be overcome. A second hurdle race will follow.

The owner-rider timber race will be held at 3 p.m. For 2Vz miles owners and their loyal mounts will contest the Casanova timber course. Following, foxhunters with the will to race take to the course for a 2Vi-mile timber race.
