The first flat race will be held at 12:30 over IV* miles of turf. Then novices will get a crack at the timber course. Three miles of timber will challenge riders toward the finish line where a trophy donated by the family of the late A. A. Baldwin will be awarded.
A maiden hurdle race will be held next for 4-year-olds. One and a half miles will be raced over the manmade National Hurdles.
The ladies are. up next for the timber course with a trophy donated by the Clarke Courier as a reward. Next the foxhunters will try their hand at the timber for about 2 Vi miles.
An open hurdle race will be held at around 3 p.m. over 1% miles, with the Hunt Supporters Trophy as the prize. Then an open timber race will be held over a 3-mile course with a perpetual trophy for the winner in memory of the late William A. Dryer.
Owner-riders will challenge the 3-mile timber course next for the George P. Greenhalgh Perpetual Trophy. Finally, the day will round out with a novice flat race for ladies and gentlemen who have never won a race under NSHA rules this year.
