Elena Kritter
The Rappahannock News and along with the Rappahannock County High School Athletics Department are pleased to announce Elena Kritter as Athlete of the Month for the month of September.
Elena, daughter of Gene and Lynn Kritter of Culpeper, Virginia is a junior at the Rappahannock County High School.
As captain of the team, Elena is a key player on the Panther Girls Varsity Volleyball team.
Kritter currently has 178 “kills,” which is a team high for the Rappahannock Panthers. She is also second on the team in every other category with 99 blocks, 25 assists, and 278 digs. She is ranked second in service with a serving rate of 96 percent.
Kritter transferred to Rappahannock County High School following her freshman year at St. Luke’s Private school in Culpeper. Her parents pay tuition since she is an out-of -county resident.
