Responsibilities include assessment and treatment planning, case management, medication administration, training of residential staff, coordinating with other department staff, and providing interagency coordination activities. Work schedule may require day, evening or weekend hours. Requires a Bachelor 's degree in nursing and three years of experience in community-based mental health services. Five year of related experience preferred. Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia. Certified as Psychiatric Nurse or eligible for certification. Will be required to transport clients in program vehicles. Employment is contingent upon criminal background check, driving record check and a valid driver's license in Virginia or regional state of residence and TB test.
