The ninth annual $1,000,000 Panther Classic Golf Tournament was held Sunday, October 15, at Bowling Green Country Club in Front Royal Virginia, Rappahannock County School Sports Association (RCSSA, the boosters club) puts on this event every year to raise money for children’s athletics at Rappahannock schools. This year nearly $4,000 was raised thanks to the support of our sponsors and golfers. Rappahannock National Bank sponsored the hole-in- one for a car, the Inn at Little Washington donated a dinner for two as a door prize and Burgers ‘n’ Things supplied the lunch. No one won the car but the food was excellent. Jerry Carter’s team came in first place. Jerry is the Athletic Director at Liberty
