Or, if you want to try painting your mural ‘free hand’ you will need to purchase an assortment of brushes and paints to complete it
If you plan on painting your mural, many paint companies offer small ‘Trial Size” containers that are prepackaged or you can ask to have the staff mix colors to suit your needs.
Keep in mind that latex paints will be mixed with a ‘glaze medium’ (also found at your paint shop), so once again, a little paint goes a very long way. The purpose of the medium is to prevent your paint from drying too fast to make it go on smoother, and to allow colors to blend more easily.
Preparing your wall is

You will need to make sure that the wall is smooth and clean. For this purpose, a new coat of paint will produce the best finish and results.
