Have you ever stared at the blank walls in a room and wished you had some way of making your room a reflection of your favorite landscape setting? Murals in rooms have become increasingly popular in homes today and it’s not as difficult as you may think.
There are many resources available to assist you in making a room a personal haven.
A great starting point for murals is our local library and bookstores to find books that have pictures of what you want in your room. Tropical settings, beautiful gardens, a golf course or whatever appeals to you, get a couple of pictures to choose from. Make copies of the pictures you find most appealing.
Now that you have what you want narrowed down, sit in your room with the pictures. Decide whether you want a full wall mural or perhaps a border, or a small landscape in one focal point of the room
In addition, there are plenty of instructional books available on “How-to” paint flowers, trees or objects. Don’t be shy about asking store associates to help you select the items you will need to complete your project.
