Lou Dobbs, a CNN reporter, recently stated that around $6 million dollars per day, on average, is spent by lobbyists in Washington, D.C., on behalf of influencing legislation for special interests. It’s about time something demonstrably meaningful were pursued to diy up that hog wallow, and at least make a true attempt to return the senate to accountability and public service.
Repealing the 17th Amendment would be a good start. Ask your congressmen how they’d feel about that.
