Robin Oyster, from Castleton, has been accepted into the prestigious Reading Program, provided by Randolph-Macon Woman’s College (R-MWC).
Oyster, a junior at RMWC, will spend her junior year studying abroad at the University of Reading in Reading, England.
R-MWC began the Reading Program in 1968 as a way for students to spend a full academic year studying in England without interrupting their college career in the United States.
The competitive program allows selected students to earn 27 to 33 credits while enjoying the benefits of living in a different country and attending an English university.
Founded in 1891, Randolph-Macon Woman’s College is a highly selective undergraduate liberal arts college with a distinguished history of establishing global connections.
