Systems Engineer II Information Technology (DIT) Become a member of the Technology Services Team in the Department of Information Technology supporting personal computers and peripheral devices in the county libraries. Responsibilities include installing, upgrading and troubleshooting County-standard hardware and software. Knowledge of Novell Client, GroUpWise, Windows 2000/XP, and TCP/IP is desired. Knowledge of LAN topologies. OSI layer 1-2, WAN telecommunications, and LAN administration a plus. Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as outstanding customer relations skills. Must be able to function effectively as a team member. Education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree with major course work in computer science, data processing, electronics or other related Field; and at least three years work experience in computer technology, electronics or other directly related field.
