burglaries
Sargent Mark Currence and Deputy Angela Deavers of the Rappahannock County Sheriff’s Office responded to a burglar alarm sounding at the the Rappahannock Medical Center on Gay Street, in Washington, Virginia on the evening of October 14.
Although officers found the front door open, the second door was locked. After locating someone with the key they were able to search the building. Entry was thought to have been through an unlocked window. Further investigation revealed that the cash box had been rifled through and that the pharmacy might have been tampered with.

On October 14, Sheriff’s Deputies also discovered that, elsewhere in the same building, the door to Aaron Mountain Surveys had been broken into. A rock had been thrown to break the glass window in the door. Law officers contacted the owner, who searched the office for missing items. Although at first glance nothing seemed to be missing, the owner later reported that only a left hand glove had been taken.
