As a Rappahannock native
who has strong ties to the community and family living in the county, I wanted to weigh in on the qualifications of Piedmont District Board of Supervisors candidate Eddie Wayland and encourage voters to elect him November 7.
I’ve known Eddie for years, since I was his wife Cindy’s French student at Rappahannock County High School in the late 1970’s. What I remember from those days was what a dedicated husband and father Eddie was. He treasured his family and the life they had in Rappahannock, just as he does today.
Through the years I came to know Eddie much better, as I worked by his side as his assistant in the software consulting business. Time and time again, I watched him skillfully negotiate difficult business deals, calmly handle seemingly catastrophic emergencies, nurture and encourage
