McQuillan was placed on house arrest Thursday and will be placed on electronic monitoring. He will be under supervised probation and the probation officer will decide, based on his behavior, how long that monitoring will last. He will be allowed to work and one half of each paycheck will go for restitution until he pays back $13,000, the sum of half the damages.
He was also ordered to pay for the electronic monitoring and drug screens which he will have to undergo regularly.
In addition he was ordered to cooperate with the Commonwealth and testify in the Haught case, which involves the adult charged as an accessory after the fact in connection with the larceny.
McQuillan will reappear before the court on Feb. 12, 1998 for a review.
