an economy so dependent on the natural beauty of the area it is foolhardy and counterproductive to pave and widen at every opportunity.
The slow pace here is part of the attractiveness of the county. We would be better off in every way to stop increasing the speed of travel. If we must keep the pavers busy let us build bike paths along the main roads.
There is a board of supervisors meeting this Monday evening, Nov. 3, at 7:30 p.m. at the Washington courthouse to review plans for the next six years. Come and let them know what you think.
