With Halloween approaching, promising to provide a night filled with fun and laughter, Rappahannock Sheriff Gary T. Settle and his staff remind all trick-ortreaters to think safety.
The first 100 children tc come by the Sheriff’s office will get a free Halloween light stick to take trick-or-treating.
The Sheriff’s office is also providing each Rappahannock Elementary School student with a pamphlet on Halloween safety to take home to their parents. Anyone else interested in a pamphlet may pick one up at the Sheriff’s office.
In an effort to make this Halloween a safe and enjoyable holiday for everyone, Settle recommends the following Halloween Safety Tips:
Wear light colored clothing that’s short enough to prevent tripping and add reflective tape.
