I like to call this time of year my “Fruit Loop” season and, when our leaves peak, I hope they are as beautiful as the leaves were over the weekend in southwest Virginia. We oohed and aahed over the various shades of reds, oranges, and yellows as if we were watching fireworks on the 4th of July. The leaves make for slick roads in wet weather, though, so be extra careful when traveling.

Watch out for little trick or treaters this Friday, Oct. 31, as they make their rounds in the neighborhoods.
