education, anti-woman agenda which has been rejected again and again by the voters ofVirginia.
The car tax issue is just smoke and mirrors because it is so filled by caveats and clauses you might think it was written by snake oil salesman. (It was actually written by a Republican lawyer.) It wouldn’t come into play until the next governor leaves office. It would transfer some control of local public education to Richmond. And counties like Rappahannock will have to raise property taxes or cut back on education and public safety.
When you look at the Republican positions on other issues, (and have you heard much about them from the Republicans?) you will see the chief lawyer of the state, the Republican candidate, protecting polluters like the Smithfield meat packer who just happened to give big bucks to the Republicans last time out.
You will see this same lawyer advocating spousal consent to replace a woman’s right of choice, even though he later had to admit that this would be unconstitutional. You will see this lawyer advocating the dismantling of public education in Virginia, not only by his ill conceived tax reform plan, but by advocating state support for private education.
