Revival services underway
Revival services are going on now and will continue through Sunday, Nov. 2 at Massanova Pentecostal Church in Castleton. Evangelist Greg Atkins will be the guest speaker. Church celebration planned
The First Baptist Church of Washington will celebrate 124 years with revival services and other special services through Nov. 2. Nightly revival services will be held Wednesday Rev. Henry Townes; Thursday Rev. James Holmes and Friday Rev. Journey Beasley. Each minister will be accompanied with his choir and congregation. On Sunday, Nov. 2 Sunday School will be held at 9:45 a.m. followed by worship service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Wendell Grant preaching. Dinner will be served from 1:30 to 2:30 and the afternoon service will be conducted by Rev. Booker Taylor, his choir and congregation from Brandy Station. “All are welcome to celebrate and worship with us,” said a spokesperson.
