Lea said his client needs to be in the rehab program. He asked for the sentence in Rappahannock to be amended to 12 months to run concurrent with the other sentences his client is serving and that Woodward be allowed to attend the rehab program and return to complete his sentences after that.
Commonwealth’s Attorney Peter Luke said the matter should be heard before Judge Rayner Snead, who ruled on the case. He also said the Department of Corrections should approve of the program or that Woodward should be put into one of their programs
