Be‘aware’
October, almost over now, is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. However, breast cancer is certainly not something one should only be “aware” of during October. It is something women must be aware of and learn to check for on a consistent basis.
The American Cancer Society has information about breast cancer, mammograms and how to properly perform a breast self exam.
Statistics indicate that while breast cancer incidents have increased the mortality rate has significantly dropped. This is surely do to increased awareness and education of women concerning breast cancejp.
