meeting, conducted by President Betty Wood, included the adoption of revised ByLaws and Standing Rules for the club. Adopt-A-Highway Chairman Breezy Gannon announced Monday, Nov. 3, will be the day for cleaning the Club’s portion of Route 231, and for getting the Courthouse grounds ready for winter. Members were urged to participate in one of these activities.
Several members displayed artistic arrangements and blue ribbons were awarded to Beth DeBergh and Celine Siira for their creations. In horticulture, which included Chrysanthemums, Asters, and Dahlias, many ribbons were given for the beautiful specimens with blue ribbons going to Betty Wood, Beth DeBergh, Susan Hager, and Celine Siira.
Hostesses for the meeting were Barbara Colvin, Virginia Scott, and Helen Smith.
