for
a Quiet Talk... It's time for a breather every now and then...a time when one can listen to birds sing, breathe fresh air, and crunch leaves underfoot. What an appropriate opportunity to have a peaceful communion with our Heavenly Father and to contemplate His reassuring power in our complex lives. In Psalm 143:4-6 David says, “So my spirit grows faint within me; my heart within me is dismayed...! meditate on all your works and consider what you have done. I spread out my hands to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched land." Worship in your local church or synagogue each week and learn of God s power in your life; take the time to meditate upon our Creator in His world. Go for a quiet walk for a quiet talk with God.
