The Rappahannock Board of Supervisors does not in fact endorse candidates. At their last meeting, they recognized and commended Jay Katzen for the fine job he’s done for the county.
The following are points of clarification from Commissioner of Revenue concerning last week’s article on land use and one correction for that article: (1) The Commissioner’s office has been working with them since Sept. 1 and only those who haven’t come as yet will be worked in the remaining time; (2) printed changes to the program have not been distributed and any changes are already approved; (3) there are minor affects to the program; (4) each county could set their own values if desired; (5) the work is done by the Commissioner and her staff, not just by her; (6) the state forester helps with forest tracks.
