4-H Extension Agent
The Rappahannock County 4-H Achievement Night program was held at the Rappahannock County Elementary Schpfjl^ with approximately 40 people in attendance. Special guest was Delegate Jay Katzen who has been a strong supporter of 4-H.
After a scrumptious “pot luck” dinner, project medals, certificates and ribbons were presented. Zack Corbin hosted the evening program. Candace Lamma, 4-H volunteer leader and All Star presented a very informative presentation on the 4-H program she uses in the public school system called “Talking with T.J.”
Special awards, presented by the Corbin family for the “Most Enthusiastic Camp Counselor” in memory of Mary Beth Williams, who passed away earlier this year, went to Zack Corbin and Robyn Kaye.
A special tribute for Paul Nichols was written by Lamma and read during the program:
“This past year has been one that has been filled with lots of fun activities and individual accomplishments, as well as much sadness and loss.
