After a hearing in chambers on Monday, Circuit Court Judge Shore Robertson entered a final decree in the Potomac Edison ' power line case.
The decree grants Sperry ville landowner Susan E. Cameron a permanent injunction against the utility, prohibiting PotEd from “any farther construction of the proposed 138 kilovolt electrical transmission system across her property.” In addition, it orders the power company to restore Cameron’s property within 60 days to its condition as of December 1, 1982. In the alternative, should PotEd exercise its power of eminant domain, the decree notes that commissioners will be appointed to determine the compensation due Cameron.
