We were entertained by a group of teenage dancers at the Drum and Fire Building. Some of them played tin whistles and drums while the others dance and learned several colonial dances. The music and the dances differed greatly from the music of today.

Thursday morning, after breakfast, >we loaded the buses and headed to Cape Henry. Just before entering the tunnel under Hampton Roads, we saw a submarine headed into the Chesapeake Bay.
At Cape Henry we saw the cross where the colonial settlers first touched land on April 26, 1607, and gave thanks for their safe journey. We also saw the old and new lighthouses and climbed the old lighthouse to the top to see the Atlantic Ocean meet Cheapeake Bay. We also saw a slide show about Fort Story. I think everyone had fun; I know I did.
