Junior counselors are needed for Rappahannock’s pilot day camp program set for June 13-17 at the 4-H Center in Harmony Hollow.
Applications for the positions, which pay $15 per day, are available at the VPI Extension office in Washington. Deadline for submission is Friday, May 20.
In addition, there are still plenty of openings for adult counselors who will be paid $4 an hour. Camp organizers Pali Delivitt and Birgitt Thornhill are looking for men and women who can give at least 3-6 hours, one day of camp week, to teach swimming, sports, crafts, dance, art or other activity. Children with a parent who is a counselor will be given first priority for camp attendance.
