Navy Airman William C. Lancaster Jr., son of Nancy L. and William C. Lancaster Sr., of Boston, has been selected as the Sailor of the Month for Attack SnnaJw>n 176. based at Naval Air Station Oceana, Virginia Beach, Va., embarked aboard the aircraft carrier USS Independence.
Lancaster was chosen from among all the enlisted personnel assigned to the command, and was cited for his outstanding performance of duty, proficiency, leadership, initiative and military bearing.
