.Julian Louie Brown, 82, of Culpeper, died Tuesday. May 3, 1983, at his residence.
Graveside services were held on Thursday at Culpeper Masonic Cemetery by the Rev. Stephen Combs and George F. Beard.
A native of Rappahannock County, Mr. Brown was retired from the Virginia Department of Highways. His prents were the late Dr. James Gideon and Cora Reid Brown. Mr. Brown was a fifty year member of Fairfax Masonic Lodge, a charter member of Culpeper Volunteer Fire Department and a charter member of Culpeper Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. He attended and graduated from Randolph Macon Academy in Front Royal.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nita Reynolds Brown of Culpeper; one daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Brown Argent of Bethesda, Md.; one granddaughter; a sister, Mrs. Francis Churchill Jones of Richmond and one brother, Harold G. Brown of Winchester.
Clore Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of arrangements.
