Game Laws

Adopted

During the April 29th meeting of the Virginia Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries held at Holiday Inn Midtown in Richmond, the commissioners adopted all of the game proposals, with some minor fangugage changes, which had advertised state-wide following the March 1982 meeting.

Included in the season and bag limits adopted was the elimination of some chase seasons for raccoon, setting of a bag limit for hunting turkeys at one a day and two per license year either sex during the fall season, and changes in thb language pertaining to time limits for tagging deer and turkev.
