“The response to our project from Rappahannock people has been wonderful,” Peggy reported. Sherri Woodard and her Faith Mountain Herbs and Antiques, Eva Stephenson and her exquisitly dyed and fashioned corn husk dolls, Tom Von Fange and his artistry in wood, Emmett White and his antiques and Nan and Jim Thomanson and their Country Heritage crafts have all reserved space. Elmer Atkins has volunteered to donate cider and a steady stream of wellwishers have promised to show up for the festivities.
“We’re hoping it will end up being THE place to go in Virginia,” Peggy said, beaming her wide smile. “If you haven’t seen the Sperryville Indoor Flea market...”
