Mrs. Russie Miller and Miss Elsie Dodson attended the Mental Health meeting in Washington last Wednesday.

Mrs. Barbara Gentry attended the Postmasters Convention in Las Vegas, Nev., last week. Enroute home she spent the weekend with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Gentry, in Manassas.

Mr. and Mrs. Odie Herndon and sons of Manassas spent Sunday with Mrs. Herndon’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bunny Hudson, and Cathy.

Sunday guests of Mrs. Robert Nethers were Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Nethers, George Nethers, Heather Aylor, Mrs. Ranny Aylor, Mrs. F. D. Coffey, Jr., Mrs. Bob Lewis, Karen Corder, Charles Corder, Jr., Mrs. Moffett Brady and Mrs. Ernest Crane.

The Flint Hill Extension Homemakers Club met with Mrs. Polly Payne on Tuesday. The program was a talk on first aid presented by Mr. and Mrs. Rick Johnson, members of the Sperryville Rescue Squad. Members present were Margaret Muter, Flo Duvall, Sandra Jenkins, Margaret Dodson, Elsie Dodson, Ethel Pullen and Russie Miller.

The Pastor, Parish and Finance Committees met at the Flint Hill United Methodist Church on Tuesday evening.

The Administrative Board of the United Methodist Church met on Monday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Brady. The Nominating Committee also met to make preparations for the 1986 calendar year. Members present were Mr. and Mrs. Moe Walker, Mr. and Mrs. Carson Lillard, Robert Clatterbuck, Charles Foster, Mrs. Paul Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Emory Russell, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Duvall, Mrs. Doug Bywaters and the Rev. Merlin Shorb.
