Before sentence was passed, Luke explained his decision to accept the plea agreement was based on getting a maximum jail term.
“I’m agreeing because, under the parole and good time rules in effect, if he was sentenced to more than 12 months, he wouldn’t actually serve as much time,” Luke said.
Brady was sentenced to 12 months in the Warren County jail work release program.
“Work release is a privilege given to people deemed to be suitable, and you must abide by the rules and regulations if you don’t want to serve a straight sentence,” said Judge Robertson. “Be very careful with your drinking habit and with the love of your family and friends, you can overcome it. ”
