on the local school system was headed by Dr. Margaret Roberts.
Dr. Roberts said that students in grades 10 and 12 and all teachers were given computer scan sheets and asked to record their answers to the survey questions.
Children in grades three, five, 10 and 12 were given the questionnaire to take home for their parents to complete. Students were then to return those forms to the school on the last day of the three-day period.
“We usually give up to 260 parent forms per class, so all students in those grades in Rappahannock received the forms,” Dr. Roberts said.
Nearly 150 responses from parents were returned for evaluation.
The results were first presented to the school board in February.
