Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Goddard and daughter, Caroline, have returned home to Quaint Acres after a three-week trip to Europe. They visited Germany, France, Belgium and England.
The annual Fishback reunion was held Sunday at the Ruritan Building in Brightwood across from the Robinson River Primitive Baptist Church. The Thornhills, Weavers and Butlers here are members of the clan.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Duncan were called to Alexandria Friday and spent the weekend there after learning that Mrs. Duncan’s sisterin-law, Mrs. William Hawkins, had suffered a heart attack.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frazier, Jr., and children, Michele, Michael and Christopher, attended the church picnic at Lake Arrowhead in Luray on Saturday afternoon, and on Sunday afternoon were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Meade in Culpeper. Visiting the Fraziers Monday evening were Mrs. James L. Knick and son, Michael, of Fort Washington, Md., and Mrs. Alvin Atkins of Sperryville. Mrs. Atkins was an overnight guest Friday of her aunt, Mrs. Howard Jenkins, in Culpeper.
Kindal Peyton is recuperating at home following knee surgery at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Meredith and Mr. and Mrs. Nick Meredith and their families, of Reva and Leon, visited Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Nicholson during the weekend.
