Bemie Gilpin has returned to his home after being a patient at Warren Memorial Hospital. He is reported to be improving. Mr. Gilpin's son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Gilpin of Alaska are spending several weeks with him.
The United Methodist Women met on Monday evening at the home of Mary Frances Bvwaters. Mrs. Barbara Gentry led the program on “The Life of John Wesley.” Others present were Louise McCulloch, Mabel Lillard, Russie Miller, Candy Lamma, Flo Duvall, Evelyn Walker, Alice Pullen, Gaynelle Russell, Janet Eastham, Margaret Eastham and Mary Curtis.
Mrs. Ethel Pullen was an overnight guest Sunday of her daughter Mrs. Kathleen Nicholson in Front Royal.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter J. Curtis have returned home after a visit with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Curtis, and grandson Joshua ih Tulsa, Okla. Mrs. Curtis spent last week at the Postmasters Convention in Las Vegas.
