The Sperryville sewer project, which was to have been completed in October under the original timetable, is now projected to be on line some time in the spring, County Supervisors were told at their Sept. 9 meeting.

That assessment was given to the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors by Wayne Cilimberg of the Rappahannock-Rapidan Planning District Commission.

While the collection line portion of the project is on schedule, progress on the sewer treatment plant is “well behind where we hoped it would be at this time,” Cilimberg told the supervisors during their regular monthly meeting Monday.
