They said that Santiago enjoyed the cold weather a lot, especially the skiing and sledding. He went along on one of the Wakefield Country Day School ski trips (WCDS is where the Luke children go to school). In Colombia the weather is tropical yearround, so the Lukes took Santiago shopping for winter clothing.
He celebrated Christmas three times, twice with the Lukes and once with the rest of the exchange students at a Christmas dinner held at the Kerr’s house, another family who is hosting one of the students.
