Attention ball players, parents, and coaches of RAA. Please be aware it is dangerous to have children shortcutting to Hackley’s Store through the adjoining property (north side Stuart Field). I understand some children were almost dog-bitten on Saturday. The tenant advises he has had to talk to several children going through the property in the past several weeks while preparing for Opening Day this past Saturday. He is concerned that someone may be bitten so please alert all concerned. If questions, call Cathy at 937-5024.
During Opening Day ceremonies at Stuart Field on Saturday, April 27, tribute was paid to Mrs. May Belle Stuart for donating the fields for use by ball teams under the auspices of the Ruritan Club. Mrs. Stuart died last August 16. May we never forget her kindness!
